Listing is for a pair of Skyline Barra conversion engine brackets.

Brackets suit RB series shells which came out with an RB20 or RB30.

 

Brackets have been made to be able to re-use standard RB20/RB30 type engine mounts or aftermarket mounts (square mounts).

Position of the engine is forward enough to line the shifter up with the original hole in the tunnel and get easy access to the oil filter.

 

The car pictured has had the engine x-member lowered with our x-member spacer kit to allow for the bonnet to shut without modification.

 

Brackets are laser cut and folded from 5mm 250 grade plate and are powder coated BLACK.

 

M10 socket head caps screws and flat washers are supplied to bolt the brackets to the barra block.

 

No sway bar is able to be retained with this conversion unless you modify the sump.

 

No parts of the barra have been modified, sway bar was removed, x-member spacer kit added and barra brackets bolted to block. 

 

Cross Member Spacers required:

S Chassis: 25mm

R31: none (G series turbo on high mount manifold may require 16mm)

R32: 25mm

R33/34: 16mm

 

Please make sure the engine crossmember being used has the engine mounts forward of steering rack (behind steering rack is S Chassis), the angle of the mount is roughly 45 degree to steering rack and the engine mounts used are square with 1 stud per side.
