Front brake adapters to suit Datsun 1200 (and similar) struts.
This kit allows the use of CA18 & SR20 single piston brakes, R33/34 non turbo 2 piston front brakes , R32/33/S14/S15 4 piston front brakes on factory struts.
Adapters are laser cut 10mm mild steel and zinc plated for corrosion protection.
8mm of track is added per side due to the rotors now slipping over the hub instead of bolting on the back like factory.
The original Hub's need to be machined down to 140mm to allow the rotors to slip over.
Longer wheel studs are required to compensate for the thickness of the rotor.
Once the hubs are machined down the rest of the brake conversion is a bolt on affair.
Kit includes:
2 x laser cut caliper adapters
4 x M12x35 High Tensile bolts
4 x M10x25 High Tensile bolts
4 x M12 spring washers
4 x M10 spring washers.
Some clearance may be required for 4 piston calipers as they have a larger diameter mount than single piston calipers.
This kits original intention was to allow sr20 brakes onto 1200 struts but the rest will fit also.
