R31 Skyline Castor Brackets

Listing is for a pair of R31 fabricated castor brackets.

Brackets are fabricated from 4mm laser cut mild steel, with the design criteria of utilizing existing available adjustable castor rods from import Silvia & Skylines (preference is S14 and R33 Length arms for maximum thread engagement). These are a direct bolt in solution and have 4 positions of castor pivot adjustment 3 degrees apart (2nd lowest hole is matching to the stock position). Brackets also retain sway bar mounts.

The adjustment in the bracket allows you to control the way the car lifts and dives under braking & acceleration. The closer the castor rod and shock angle is to 90deg the less mechanical interference is present in the front end and the shock will have full control. the further from 90deg the more mechanical interference is present and the shock will be aided by the front end geometry.

The changing of arm geometry will not affect the ability of the spring / shock to control the wheel movements, or the general ride quality. 

Brackets are now powder coated black for longevity and are supplied with the fasteners to mount to body and mount castor rods.

if you are wanting to purchase with adjustable curved castor rods, these will be available at a later date (mid august due to cnc delay).
